The Backstay Insulator Toggle/Stud 7/16" is a purpose-designed yacht rigging component used to electrically isolate a section of the backstay while providing two different connection options within the standing rigging system.

This model features a toggle connection at one end and a swage stud terminal at the other, with the swage terminal designed to suit 7/16" diameter wire rope. The toggle provides an articulated pin-style connection to compatible rigging hardware, while the wire rope is permanently secured into the stud end by professional swaging.

The insulator electrically separates sections of the backstay, making it suitable where an insulated section of standing rigging is required, including HF/SSB backstay antenna systems.
