Swageturn Insulator Stud/Stud
Description
The Backstay Insulator Stud/Stud is a purpose-designed yacht rigging component used to electrically isolate a section of the backstay while maintaining a strong and secure connection within the standing rigging system.
Featuring a swage stud terminal at each end, the insulator allows wire rope to be permanently swaged into both ends. Available in a range of sizes, with the listed size referring to the diameter of wire rope the swage terminals are designed to suit.
The insulator electrically separates sections of the backstay, making it ideal where an insulated section of standing rigging is required, including HF/SSB backstay antenna systems.
