The Backstay Insulator Stud/Stud 9/16" is a purpose-designed yacht rigging component used to electrically isolate a section of the backstay while maintaining a strong and secure connection within the standing rigging system.

This model features a swage stud terminal at each end, with both swage terminals designed to suit 9/16" diameter wire rope. The wire rope is permanently secured into each end of the insulator by professional swaging.

The insulator electrically separates sections of the backstay, making it suitable for installations where an insulated section of standing rigging is required, including HF/SSB backstay antenna systems.
