Swageturn Insulator Stud/Toggle
Description
The Swageturn Backstay Insulator Toggle/Stud is a purpose-designed yacht rigging component used to electrically isolate a section of the backstay while maintaining a strong and secure connection within the standing rigging system.
Featuring a toggle connection at one end and a swage stud terminal at the other, the toggle provides an articulated pin-style connection to compatible rigging hardware, while the stud end allows the wire rope to be permanently secured by professional swaging.
Available in a range of sizes, with the listed size referring to the diameter of wire rope the swage stud is designed to suit.
Backstay insulators are commonly used where an electrically isolated section of standing rigging is required, including HF/SSB backstay antenna systems.
