Made from high-speed steel with 5% cobalt (HSS-Co5), it delivers outstanding durability, heat resistance, and extended tool life—ideal for stainless steel, high-tensile steel, and other hard-to-drill metals.

The step tip design allows for fast, clean starts without a pilot hole, reducing bit wander and improving drilling accuracy. It performs exceptionally well across ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as hardwoods and general timber.

Fitted with a 1/4" hex shank, this bit is compatible with impact drivers, quick-change adaptors, and standard drill chucks—ensuring fast bit changes and secure tool holding in all environments.

Finished in bronze (gold oxide), the bit is tempered using a low-temperature process common to cobalt tooling, aiding in identification and wear monitoring.
