Constructed from high-speed steel with 5% cobalt (HSS-Co5), it provides excellent hardness, heat resistance, and wear life—making it ideal for stainless steel, high-tensile steels, and other demanding materials.

The advanced step tip design allows for fast, accurate starts without the need for a pilot hole. It reduces bit wander and ensures clean, efficient drilling through both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as all timber types.

Featuring a 1/4" hex shank, this drill bit is compatible with impact drivers, quick-change adaptors, and standard drill chucks, enabling fast bit changes and secure engagement in a variety of tools.

The distinctive bronze (gold oxide) finish is a low-temperature tempering treatment used to identify cobalt tools and visually track tool wear over time.
