Bordo HSS Tap – Metric Coarse – Intermediate – 8 x 1.25mm

The Bordo 8 x 1.25mm HSS Intermediate Tap is designed for producing clean, accurate internal threads in medium-to-large holes. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel (HSS), it delivers excellent hardness, wear resistance, and a long service life, even when cutting tough materials like stainless steel.

With a medium lead of approximately 3–5 threads, this intermediate (second) tap is ideal for refining threads after starting with a taper tap, or as a step before using a bottoming tap in blind hole applications. Produced to metric coarse (MC) specifications, it is perfectly suited for M8 fasteners with a 1.25mm pitch.
