The Bordo HSS UNC Tap Range is designed for cutting and repairing Unified Coarse (UNC) threads, one of the most widely used thread forms in engineering, automotive, construction, and maintenance applications. UNC threads are ideal where quick assembly, strong holding power, and resistance to stripping in softer materials are required.
Manufactured from premium High-Speed Steel (HSS), these taps provide excellent durability, accuracy, and long service life. Available in Taper, Intermediate (Second), and Bottoming styles, they enable progressive thread cutting – from easy starting to full-depth finishing in both through and blind holes.
