Bordo HSS Tap – Metric Coarse – Intermediate – 6 x 1.0mm

The Bordo 6 x 1.0mm HSS Intermediate Tap is designed for producing accurate, clean internal threads in medium-sized holes, suitable for general-purpose use in workshops, manufacturing, and maintenance. Made from premium high-speed steel (HSS), it offers excellent hardness, wear resistance, and long service life, even when used on tougher materials such as stainless steel.

With a medium lead of approximately 3–5 threads, this intermediate (second) tap is perfect for deepening and refining threads after starting with a taper tap, or as a step before using a bottoming tap in blind hole applications. Manufactured to metric coarse (MC) specifications, it is suited for M6 fasteners with a 1.0mm pitch.
