The Bordo 4 x 0.7mm HSS Intermediate Tap is designed for producing precise internal threads in small-diameter holes, offering a balance between ease of cutting and thread accuracy. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel (HSS), it provides excellent hardness, wear resistance, and durability, even when working with stainless steel and other hard materials.

With a medium lead of approximately 3–5 threads, this intermediate (second) tap is ideal for general-purpose threading, following a taper tap in through-holes or before a bottoming tap in blind holes. Produced to metric coarse (MC) specifications, it is suited for M4 fasteners with a 0.7mm pitch.
