The Bordo 4 x 0.7mm HSS Bottoming Tap is engineered for producing full-depth internal threads in small-diameter blind holes, ideal for precision engineering, fabrication, and repair work. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel (HSS), it delivers excellent hardness, wear resistance, and long service life, even when cutting harder materials like stainless steel.

Featuring a short lead of just 1–2 threads, this bottoming tap is perfect for threading to the base of blind holes or for finishing threads that have been started with a taper or intermediate tap. Made to metric coarse (MC) specifications, it is suited for M4 fasteners with a 0.7mm pitch.
