The Bordo 3 x 0.5mm HSS Bottoming Tap is engineered for producing full-depth internal threads in small-diameter holes, particularly in precision applications. Made from premium high-speed steel (HSS), it offers exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and long tool life, even when threading tough materials like stainless steel.

Featuring a short lead of just 1–2 threads, this bottoming tap is ideal for threading to the bottom of blind holes or for finishing threads started with a taper or intermediate tap. Manufactured to metric coarse (MC) specifications, it is suited for M3 fasteners with a 0.5mm pitch.
