The Bordo 12 x 1.75mm HSS Intermediate Tap is designed for producing clean, accurate internal threads in materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and non-ferrous metals. Made from premium high-speed steel (HSS), it delivers excellent strength, wear resistance, and a long working life in both hand and machine tapping applications.

As an intermediate (second) tap, it features a medium lead of approximately 3–5 threads, making it suitable for general-purpose thread cutting. It is commonly used after a taper tap to deepen and refine threads or before a bottoming tap for blind-hole applications. This tap is manufactured to metric coarse (MC) standards, matching M12 fasteners with a 1.75mm pitch.
