The Madrid Insulating Cover – Black is a purpose-designed spacer for use with the Madrid range of core drill spigots, including Madrid Core Drill, Madrid Pool, and Madrid Pool Extended models. This insulating cover provides a vital barrier between the spigot and dissimilar mounting materials such as galvanised steel, aluminium, or structural steel—preventing electrolytic (galvanic) corrosion caused by metal-to-metal contact.
Made from a durable, UV-resistant non-conductive polymer, the cover ensures long-lasting protection and is particularly important in coastal or exposed installations. The matte black finish integrates seamlessly with black spigots and hardware for a clean, consistent appearance.
