Hex Stud Nut (Half Nut / Low Profile) – UNC Thread – Stainless Steel
UNC Hex Stud Nuts, also known as Half Nuts or Low Profile Nuts, are thinner than standard hex nuts and are designed for applications where limited thread height or space constraints are a factor. Their reduced height makes them ideal for locking applications, stud connections, and situations requiring a secondary locking nut.
Manufactured with a Unified National Coarse (UNC) thread, they are suitable for use on UNC threaded studs and threaded rod in mechanical, marine, structural, and general engineering applications. Stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance, making them suitable for indoor, outdoor, and coastal environments.
